Please just be a story about monsters with humans in it and not a story about humans with monsters in it.

I don’t think that’s too much to ask from a monster movie

Feels like it was on a decade ago. I got bored with it.

And just like last season, the Randa kids just waltz merrily through every obstacle, escape every danger, avoid every monster…. Just as the story requires.

And Cate is ever insufferable.

* And the writing is awful. Never mind that Kate is insufferable, there are better ways to set up a scene where she does something incredibly stupid, reckless and selfish without everybody just standing there, yelling at her yet allowing her to do the stupid and selfish thing anyways.

Cate turning on the portal machine was super helpful in getting the pod to fly back into Axis Mundi so that Shaw could easily find it and hitch a ride back. Again, it all works out like Domino from Deadpool2 had it planned out.
