Would be great if Izzy Besselman could get a moment in the game

Hoping that if the situation presents itself at some moment in the game Izzy can get on the floor for a few seconds with strict orders to remain stationary before being removed. Perhaps during free throw attempts. Enter prior to the first shot. Exit prior to second shot. Leave to one final Tiger Nation salute from 13,000 fans. Sports center #1 play.

I don't think you can do that if the player is considered "injured" on the injury paperwork required.

That is subject to being updated to an hour prior to the game. Missouri scratched a starter Sunday which is why Kim went small. I am not certain whether a player can enter and check out during free throws, but hopefully something like that if the Tigers are up big at the end of the game.

I agree but don’t think it will happen. Izzy is awesome. I hate that this has taken the chance she would had to play a bit more this year and tonight. She will be successful at whatever she does.

She’s played in 39 games in her career. She will get honored with the other seniors. That seems adequate

According to an article in today's Advocate, she has had a heart condition going back to last year. Her condition causes her heart rate to either drop or spike & any physical exertion causes those reactions. Which is why she no longer even participates in pre game warm ups. But she was elected by her teammates to be a team captain, which says a lot about her character & how they feel about her.

So no one, including the OP, thought it important enough to follow up and let us know the Izzy did, in fact get her time on the floor in the waining seconds?

There was a cool video from last year when CCM gave her a full scholarship at a team meeting. She was mobbed by all her teammates & there were a lot of tears all around.

She absolutely killed people in middle school. Was an amazing player heads and shoulders better than anyone else in the floor.
