Normally in a bad season in any sport, you look for growth or guys who can take a step into next season. It’s hard to do that when you know the roster can have such a huge turnover, and with a possible coaching change it’s even crazier. Pretty sure we have 1 guy suited up that was on the team last year. There’s not much reason as a fan to evaluate these guys simply because they won’t be here.

I think having 2 wins in the SEC plays a big part in that.

He’s been horrible when it comes to retaining players. Everyone says the “players suck”. Which if true that’s on the coach. I think he’s just an all around bad coach.

I feel like his biggest strength (and maybe only strength) is player retention. Not sure what yall are talking about. He somehow convinced reed to keep coming back to lsu 3 different times. Got robert miller to come back. Somehow got collins and ward to come back after their first years. Got hannibal to come back for a 2nd year. Seems to be pretty normal to me in this agr of basketball
