Bruce joined his Iron Maiden band mate for “Wasted Years” which is a great song.

Iron Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith is on tour with Richie Kotzen and their project Smith/Kotzen, which is an incredible band with a couple of great albums.

Bruce seems like he still enjoys performing the song.

The bassist chick annoys me for some reason.

Wasted Years is a great Maiden song. The Smith/Kotzen tour would have been a good show to catch in the states.

Kotzen is talented, but seems a bit weird/odd. I believe the bass player is his girlfriend. She was also in the all girl rock band 'Vixen'.

That’s Kotzen’s wife Julia Lage. She’s the bassist in several bands and solo.

Why does Kotzen seem weird to you? He wasn't doing anything weird in that video, he was just playing the rhythm guitar part. Great guitarist, excellent singer. I saw him with The Winery Dogs in 2014. Saw Vixen way back in the day with the original line-up, long before this chick was in the band. Another former Vixen bassist is married to Steve Vai. I'm seeing Maiden again this year, looking forward to it.

Smith/Kotzen is on a European tour, but is expected to announce U.S. dates soon.

They play their songs, but also throw in some Iron Maiden and Richie Kotzen originals.

Apparently Richie and Adrian have become great friends.

I saw Kotzen on a podcast talking about how Maiden was his favorite band as a kid, so meeting and playing in a band with Adrian Smith was surreal.

I don’t think the bass player was either.

Bruce is the renaissance man of our times. He still sounds the best of them all at this age.

She was fine, just playing the bass and smiling. It's weird to think they were weird.

In other news, I just bought a ticket to go see the SatchVai Band. Animals as Leaders opening. That's show number five lined up for this year. Also debating whether I want to go see Alice Cooper again.

I checked the other day and didn't see anything. If they come near me, I'll go.

Would love to catch Maiden - Megadeth.

Two favorites I’ve never seen and time is running out.

I am heading down in September for Maiden, Megadeth, & Anthrax at the Alamodome in the pit. Last show in the U.S. of the tour. Can't wait.

I'm thinking of doing both nights in LA.

This is really more to see an aging Maiden. Mustaine says this "final" Megadeth tour will be 4 years lol

Yeah, over all the years I've been a Maiden fan, I've only been able to see them once. My plan to see Ozzy one last time never materialized for reasons we are all familiar with. I saw the classic Megadeth lineup with Dave, Dave, Marty, and Nick twice in the '90s. I mentioned thinking about going to see Alice Cooper again which I'll probably do. He's no spring chicken either. ZZ Top is another band I've been debating going to see.

I've seen them many times, but with Nicko gone, the writing is on the wall.

I was screwed out of final Ozzy (until I rescued it by attending Back to the Beginning this summer.) [sorry, couldn't resist lol]

I think I saw it 3 times, including in NOLA in Jan 1993. I just came across that stub the other day. I think last time I saw them was in 2010 when they were playing Rust in its entirety.
