He better have an answer on how he is going to reimplement tariffs and keep the trade agreements in place. He better not just whine about the Supreme Court decision. They have known this is coming for months and should have an answer immediately.

Plz tell he isn’t gonna whine and cry cause he didn’t get his way right?

Well, considering he's been saying for about a month now he has other ways he can get this stuff done, I expect he will outline how he will move forward, but probably also express anger with the decision.

Right. This was just to get it on record who has betrayed America in the Supreme Court. Trump just made them expose themselves.
Now he gets to announce his actual plan.

Yeah, I expect he is pretty pissed off.

Much ignorance will be displayed. Trump is out of his element discussing anything legal. It’s what it is.

Reporters getting settled in. He should be on soon.

So you say, but he's been saying all along he has other avenues to carry this stuff through. He's once again obviously playing an angle here and you once again are failing to see that.

They just dimmed the lights in the press briefing room. Kinda strange.

snip:
Key details regarding the 2026 ruling and presidential authority:
Supreme Court Ruling: In a 6-3 decision, the Court struck down broad "Liberation Day" tariffs, ruling that IEEPA does not authorize the President to impose unlimited taxes or block all imports without Congressional approval.
Alternative Trade Actions: While a total cutoff is likely unconstitutional under current precedents, the President may use other, more limited statutes, such as Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974 (15% limit for 150 days) or Section 338 of the Tariff Act of 1930.
National Security Exceptions: The President can still adjust imports under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 if the Secretary of Commerce finds imports threaten national security.
While a total ban is illegal, the President retains, and has exercised, significant power to levy high tariffs on specific goods or countries, resulting in a substantial increase in average U.S. tariffs to their highest levels since 1934, according to Yale University's Budget Lab.

Something weird is going on here. There is a lot of reporters. Something huge might be announced.

They're hoping they're about to make a victory lap.

Congress certainly won't do anything. They're being paid to go against tariffs.
Is there a way around This without having to depend on any Congress critters?
Chinese take out tomorrow night.

A storm that never actually arrests anyone or drains anything

Kinda sucks that he's gotta be like 30 minutes late to a press briefing in the same building where he is currently at.
