Do you reuse your towels?

I hang mine on a hook. Sometimes it may be reused seven or eight times. What is the maximum number of times that the towel is still considered clean enough to be used agsin?

Two days then move on to a new one.

I will reuse it two or three times before washing.
Seven or eight sounds a bit extreme

If you're clean when you dry off then it is clean enough to reuse. If it starts to smell from drip drying over and over, time to use another one.

Nah, I throw them out after one use.

I don't reuse shower towels, typically. I do reuse sauna towels, sometimes 2 or 3 times. And, sometimes the hand towel for the sink is up for a week or more.
My son, Deuce Midnight, somewhat infamously reuses a shower towel for a week, 10 days.

Towels are fine to be reused until they start smelling moldy assuming you’re just drying off with them.

I will hang dry mine and reuse until it becomes stinky like others have mentioned, the towel will not become soiled since you're clean coming out of the shower.

my wife hangs up a fresh one for me every 2 or 3 days

1 use for bath towel and wash cloth then launder them. Hand towels at the sink get 2 or 3 uses.
I used to have a roommate who was averse to doing laundry. He would use a bath towel for a week and didn't own a single pair of underwear or a pair of socks. Everything else he wore went to the dry cleaners.

If you didn’t have a wife replacing your towel how often would you reuse your towels?

I don't know how long ai would use one, my wife changes it out periodically.
She uses a towel once.
When would it get dirty?

Why not just use an infinite number of times until it starts to stink?

Explain this logic.
After a shower, ostensibly, the towel is being used to dry away water on a largely clean body.
After a sauna session, the towel is being used to dry sweat containing organic compounds, urea, etc.

Bro was just bragging about using a sauna. No logic was applied.

I’ve been starting to because it seems like we wash towels every day. Idk how we dirty so many damn towels. As long as it doesn’t touch the floor or too much of my butt hole, I’m reusing it.
