Interesting to see them transition from the straight bar dead lifts to the trap bar during their weight training.
Not sure what the benefits are.

Always cool to see new S&C methods.

All i know is trap bar is 100x easier on the back than straight bar.

Straight bar has my back sore for days after.

Trap bar is better on your Lower-Back, Quad Development, Power/explosiveness and has a quicker learning curve (form is not as important as when you lift with straight bar)

The interview Mascona did with Brandon Taylor was awesome for understanding the recovery from this injury. BT said he came out in the best shape of his life.

I'm sure you've seen his highlights. Can you imagine him in Kiffen's offense, best shape of his life, with our new o-line and all of the speed he has at receiver and RB? If his foot is truly at 100% LSU will have the best offense in the country this season.

You’re right to use the trap bar regardless. DLs are utterly useless unless you’re a powerlifter. The risk/reward isn’t there for a high level athlete. Trap bar teaches better mechanics anyway, particularly for taller guys
