I know I’m a day late, but I can’t believe it’s been 20 years.
Jason McElwain, a HS basketball team manager with autism, suits comes in off the bench on senior night when his team builds a huge lead. Dude enters the game with 4 minutes, promptly airballs a 3, then buries 6 three pointers and scores 20, including a long bomb at the buzzer. Not sure I have ever quite entered “the zone” to that extent.

7-13 FGs, 6-10 on threes in four minutes is impressive.

I also remember the game where Manute Bol just started randomly launching 3s and couldn't miss.

That's awesome.

I remember when this video came out. He never really seemed classically autistic but more along the lines of PDD-NOS.
The low-definition phone camera makes everything feel so raw and real. It’s truly remarkable how as phone-camera technology became more advanced over the years, the resolution and picture feels farther away from reality. Nothing feels real anymore now.

I'm not crying. You're crying.

This is the birth of the "feel good" high school viral videos you see everyday now where they stop a game and the other team stops competing to "lift" someone up".
