Can I get an unbiased breakdown of the two teams strength and weakness. I listened to a few sports “hosts” who are all in on UCLA and I’m kinda scratching my head about it. I wanna take off my purple and gold and be objective.

We don’t know enough about either team this year to say for sure.

Their SS is elite and the favorite for player of the year. They have a great lineup overall and a deep pitching staff. Who knows how it will play out.

What sports hosts are breaking down college baseball right now?

Why? They were a very young team last year and made a run to Omaha. Pretty much everyone is back including the likely top overall pick.

UCLA was in the CWS last year and was a very sophomore heavy team. They had one of the best pitching staffs in the country and return most of them, plus I think 6 position players, and the SS Cholowski (sp?) is one of the top 3 SS in the country and is likely a first round pick.

Hard to pick against them with all that.

UCLA has a very stout team, fine pitching and strong hitters who have some size. They looked great…
