AFR has become nothing but a nonstop ad

Not the biggest Matt Mascona here but it used to be semi decent to drive home and listen to AFR. anymore AFR is nothing but add after ad after ad. It’s barely any sports anymore with all the ads.
In a 10 minute drive he had on five different ads that show is turned into total dog shite

He's been like that since covid when he was doing the YouTube shows. He made some money and now he cares more about clicks than sports.

He will also make sure you know he's 100% right about something despite wording it where he could never commit to either side. I don't listen to his show anymore but he's pretty awful. Has been that way for awhile now. Between the ads and his narcissistic personality I got tired of him personally.

I don't live in baton rouge.. I have to listen to his show and the rest of 104.5 on youtube...
What is crazy? They still have the same commercials from covid and others.That are several years old... i just banged my head at least they can change up the ads

I totally agree! Morning show runs 10 ads then they go live and do fricking live commercials. I stopped listening.

I drink Coors but I do listen to him Just have to pass by some of the old stuff and ads. Ads pays the bill

There's better podcasts covering LSU sports that aren't as ad heavy.
Absolutely no reason to be listening to 104.5 in 2026.
Moscona is knowledgeable, but so are 10,000 other die hard LSU fans.
His takes are awful and his sources are mostly BS.

I used to listen to him many years ago. Then, in 2018, he tried to tell me that in the 7 OT game vs A&M, all the calls were right and LSU fans should not be complaining. Couldn’t even admit to the obvious fumble being a wrong call.
Even if you believe that, you have to know your audience. But he was more interested in making himself sound like the smartest guy in the room and everyone else complaining was wrong. I have not listened to his show since then. Sounds like nothings changed except for more ads.
