LONE WOLF: Sen. John Fetterman split with Democrats by rejecting claims that the SAVE Act is “Jim Crow 2.0,” arguing voter ID laws aren’t radical and have broad public support.

quote:

“You have ID to vote — many states already do that.”

Even Democrats know this is common sense.

Will the rest of the party finally admit it?

quote:

Shutting DHS down has zero impact and zero changes for ICE.

ICE already has $75B in funding from the BBB that I did not vote for.

But it will hit FEMA, Coast Guard, TSA and our Cybersecurity Agency.

As a Democrat, I can’t vote to shut down critical parts of our government.

quote:

“Can you call someone a piece of sh*t? Can you now put that in an email? Can you chip in $10 to help me smash the oligarchy or whatever?” Fetterman mocked, calling out the tactics used by the likes of Crockett and AOC.

“I know some people just want the professional wrestling kind of thing. I know what pays the bills,” he said, exposing the grift.“When you have members of Congress calling [Trump] a piece of sh*t… Yeah, you can have a much better quarter. But for me, I’d rather just play it straight and treat people on both sides with respect.”

A Democrat with common sense. How rare is that?

I have to wonder how people like those in "The Squad" can't understand the power (which translates to more sway in Congress) which comes with the wide-ranging public support Fetterman is amassing for himself by simply being reasonable.

Reasonable doesn't turn you into a multi-millionaire former bartender overnight.

The worst-dressed dude in the history of Congress, telling others to have some dignity, should show them all how far they have fallen

I would almost like this guy, unfortunately he loves child mutilation and boys in girls sports.

Key Actions and Votes Regarding Transgender Rights

quote:

Support for Trans Athletes: Fetterman voted "no" on a federal bill aimed at preventing transgender women from competing in women's sports. He stated in a 90.5 WESA interview that he wants to be an ally to trans athletes.

Opposing Restrictions on Care: He has opposed efforts to ban gender-affirming care, such as a provision in a National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that targeted care for transgender children of service members.

Visibility and Advocacy: As Lieutenant Governor, he ordered the Transgender Day of Remembrance Trans Pride Flag to be flown from his office balcony.

No way Fetterman can win a D primary with the makeup of whackos that vote D.

If he can just moderate on some issues like guns and abortion, and maybe dress a little better, he probably could switch parties and win purple PA as an R

Thanks for keeping it real. Fetterman fans need to be reminded that he is still the enemy. He is saying what he needs to say to stay elected. When he actually votes for the SAVE Act I'll give him a pass, but until then, he's still a Democrat espousing trans nonsense.

How does Fetterman vote?

That's really all that matters.

He does speak with common sense, which is a breath of fresh air.

I've never seen a stroke so drastically change a person.

Fetterman went from abject pinko to Blue-dog Democrat with one medical episode. He's still a lefty as indicated by his voting record, but he's arguably more conservative than the usual suspect "Republicans" like the Murkowski crowd.

GOD works in mysterious ways.

Sometimes a stroke can do you good.

You can become based. Who knew?
