Do you think Progs actually believe the garbage they spew?

I do not believe any of it is a put on. The common thread is a rejection of God's guidance and grace. Without that they believe it is up to them to lord over others and make the world run the way they feel is just and fair. That is a losing proposition.

Conservatives recognize that Jesus is in charge and even the things that seem wrong or unfair are part of His divine plan and it is not our place to interfere with that.

The dumbest of them do, and that's not a small percentage. The rest are mostly just parakeets, and that's only about a notch above the totally brain-dead group.

I’m a faithful man also and I agree with a lot of what you said BUT you can’t base a government off of Gods divine plan. There must be rules for society. The problem is that progressives are lunatics with zero common sense and a thirst for power.

They are completely brainless, so I think they do.

They think God’s plan isn’t important. They think the Bible isn’t living. They see it as old. So, they proudly discredit God’s Word to feel validation.

They believe they invented “do unto others as you would have them do onto you”.

I agree that there must rules for society. The best rules for society are God's laws, which are part of His divine plan.

Doing so eliminates the vagaries of our system. No compromise. Just Biblical truth.

Seconded.

Their ideology IS their identity. For them to question what they believe is to question their own existence.

This is part of why any of their policy beliefs or actions lack legitimacy, no matter how many votes they get.

There are a lot of them out there, but
President Trump is finally starting to do the work needed to remove them from the electorate.

Some things, especially the future of this country to become the Christian nation that it should be, are too important to be left to a popular vote.

No. This is true. But in my opinion they either support those who are or they are rudderless.

So scrap the Constitution and replace it with the Ten Commandments?

I’m arguing with you here but really just being Devils Advocate. But we have freedom of religion and “Gods plan” doesn’t really jive with that.

Political leaders, most definitely not. Low IQ morons that vote for them, most certainly.

It is a little more involved than that, but generally yes. We are in a post constitutional era now. The original document has outlived its intended audience. It was created for a moral and devout people with a shared culture and basic set of beliefs. We do not have that anymore. The result is a document that protects those who dont believe more than those who do.

100% agree. As an atheist, I’d rather be surrounded and governed by Christians than Muslims or non-religious extremists.

But just pointing out not all atheists are rudderless, most of them were raised in a religious household but chose a different path somewhere along the way.

Great post.

I used to think it was an act. Now, like you, I believe they can't help themselves. It is stunning but this 'sickness' is no laughing matter.

I saw video of a man hunted by the mob, for simply having a sign supporting Trump. Had someone not offered him safe-haven, I'm certain he would have been beaten viciously.

What kind of world it this?

The on-the-ground messaging around MSP was that ICE was targeting people solely because of the color of their skin in an operation akin to Jews being rounded up in the holocaust.

These nut-jobs are convinced they are legitimately fighting nazis.

If God is in charge, and all-powerful and all-knowing, then he’s doing a really shitty job. You’d think an all powerful deity would create a better world than what we have, what with children literally starving and dying in places around the world. Guy can create massive black holes but apparently can’t stop AIDS.
