I’ve got a pal delivering a boat down in Cocodrie this AM. He’ll head back to North AL after and was wondering. Any suggestions?

Thanks gang.

You don't. You get him some Bourgeois beef jerky and call it a day.

That’s all on him. He’s the one there, not me. When I come back home to visit family I always make a Billy’s stop, or ask one of them to hook me up. I told him he would probably only find some Best Stop at Rouses.

Rouse's more than likely has some best stop.

This is your best bet if he's delivering to Cocodrie. Bourgeois is out of the way unless he wants to drive a little further. And I'd wager Best Stop is better anyway. No offense to Bourgeois'.

Cajun Meat Market on the west side of Houma is an option

I would suggest stopping at Rouses. Grab Best Stop regular and smoked boudin. The smoked has more kick. Just continue up past Hwy 90 for Bourgeois beef jerky and a boudin burrito. With the new location, it makes it really convenient not having to go all the way to Schriever.

Pull off on LA1 go down towards Grand Ilse about 2 miles and stop at Bayou Boucherie, they have good boudin and sausage. My favorite fresh sausage they have is the Garlic Beef. They make some good beef jerky too, I prefer it to Bourgeois.
