Less than 24 hrs before the tournament, AK signed with Dustin Johnson’s 4 Aces team for the season (after P. Reed’s departure) & now they are in 1st place after R1. Not sure if he can keep it up for 3 more rounds, but he is the story after day 1
Coming off the best finish of his LIV career last weekend (T22)
R3 begins at 9PM CT on FS2

I’m hoping he does well, it would be so very cool to see him podium or win a tournament this season. What a tremendous story.

The team leaderboard is the dumbest thing in sports. It’s wild that’s the thing the Yasir and the Saudis are so dead set on keeping that they’re spending billions on it and refusing any sort of merger or co-existence agreement that doesn’t keep team golf front and center.
And it’s the single dumbest thing about LIV that even their biggest “fans” forget to pretend that they care about the team results like 90% of the time
