Republican Sen. Thom Tillis (N.C.) on Wednesday applauded a grand jury’s rejection of an effort by federal prosecutors to indict six Democratic lawmakers who last year circulated a video urging members of the military to refuse illegal orders.

I agree with him, there should be disdain for the comments, but criminal charges?

Yes. They told the military to defy orders.

This is why, in the natural, we are doomed. 100% of Democrats are dirty and/or insane, but far too many Republicans are compromised, too.

Like I always say, America's #1 enemy is our very own corrupt political system.

He’s right and made a good statement. No laws were broken and time and money was wasted over a ridiculously childish attempt at retribution. Good job.

This is why the GOP is known the world over as the Gimp Party.

Shouldn't Kelly have been court martialed instead of using a grand jury?

Yes. Criminal charges.

Or did you forget that the left tried to imprison Donald Trump? For completely made up and political reasons?

I mean it was douche bag level comments, and you can infer a nefarious meaning, but telling others to not obey illegal orders just doesn’t seem to pass the threshold of criminal charges.

Well they kinda did

They urged the military to take a stand and defy ‘illegal orders’, once again playing a semantic game, but the spirit was that Trump’s orders are illegal, therefore it’s okay to disobey. These were politicians doing an end-around straight to the military, when they aren’t anywhere near the chain of command. So do the SFP thing and obfuscate, but people have enough sense to know what they heard.

Just remember that when somebody on the right complains about what the left does the next time they get power. Wanna bet the story will change?
