Murray injured his achilles on January 31 ‘25
& Tatum May 12 ‘25. I do realize everyone is different when it comes to injuries but damn! Both returned to on court practicing within a day of each other February 8 & 9

One of the player's teams is a title contender so he is trying to rush. The other player's team is not and is certainly in no rush to return. That is the difference.

Goes to show that you can't compare rehab timelines. Everyone is different, every surgery is different, and each persons rehab journey is unique.

Murray has been ready to go for months now, he just hasn’t came back because he doesn’t want to be here, but now that the trade deadline has passed he has no choice.

here lies the problem. it is far far far from just a pelicans problem. the nba has become a player's league. the league needs to take back the power, control, and the leverage back away from the players. Stars only want to play for a handful of organizations. These players get guaranteed contracts to fricking walk around to pout and mope and behave like little bitches. Its a disease plaguing the league.

And what about GM’s not playing their top players?

I don’t disagree with you, that is today’s society though. Can’t force someone to work that you’re paying millions of dollars to, they might get “triggered”

They should lock the players out during the next cba until they get rid of guaranteed contracts. That would solve alot of issues.

their behavior is so counter productive when the league is based on entertainment, revenue, butts in seats, tv ratings, yet 60% of the league feels irrelevant and the other 40% of the league shows up in spurts. frick the entire league. frick a player like murray who doesn't want to be here and be a part of what's right in the league and go off and pout and be a big part of what is the problem. you are the problem. frick off. frick everybody else. frick all this bullshite of players only wanting to play in certain places. You are missing the magic of players bonding with cities. loyalty. earn your respect. be a fricking man and do your job. come at me bro, get off my lawn. i watch so little nba now and it used to be my main sport after football of what i watched everything on tv. now you can only watch the same 5 fricking teams play in tnt non stop.

let dudes start fighting.
need more competitiveness.
refs need to stop catering to stars with bullshite calls and preferred treatment.

No it would not. They would just move on to different leagues .

100% agree! It’s why I have stopped buying tickets and spending countless hours driving to New Orleans and watching entitled babies perform half arse, if they not sitting out for rest days or never ending injuries, when in reality they should be busting their asses at the very least because of the loving basketball and COMPETING
