I want order a DF3 armlock putter but I’m 5 hours from the nearest in person LAB fitters.

Their website uses remote fitting that incorporates your measurables and a video system.

Anyone here ever use that or know someone that has?

yes, it is solid. I have done it and I have had a friend do in person and a remote fitting, both with the same results.

Yep. Very simple process.

The local shop here charged $150 for the fitting and it took me less than 5 minutes to film it and upload it.

I did it. Super easy to do and they were much faster than the advertised delays—even around Christmas time. I got one of the new heel shafted ones.

I think Golf Mechanics off of Bluebonnet has LAB Putters and set up to fit.

Do you already have an arm lock putter? From my research when getting my standard grip, they are using a known vertical line to measure your lie angle. Shaft length etc. you are basically providing from your current putter.

I came from a counterbalanced grip to a standard grip. A big difference like going to sweeper or arm lock seems like a tough on video fitting.

I'm impatient and impulsive, lol. I just found my current lie angle and confirmed the putter head was parallel to the ground with my natural stance. That lie angle was the same as the off the shelf DF3. Then went try the different lengths and landed on the 35" 69 deg as feeling right.

Makes sense!

I do currently have a Cobra arm lock putter that I will use for the fitting video. They should see that even my current putter (bought second hand) doesn’t have the correct lie angle that it should.

I called them and when I come back to BR in a couple months they will fit me & I will purchase the putter after that.
Thanks for the recommendation!

How much were they charging for the fitting?

The place here charged $150 on top of the putter price. When I saw how easy it was to do the online fitting it was a no brainer. If they include the fitting for free then I would do it in person.

They charged you $150 to take some measurements and hold the iPhone?
