It’s bittersweet seeing Jose in Knicks blue playing with that Jose energy.

New York really got one hell of a player and a great team first guy. I’m happy Jose is on a championship contender and gets to go home but now who do we have to be the spark plug off the bench when our starters look like they are sleepwalking? I’ll be rooting for the Knicks besides when they play the Pels.

This doesn’t bother me at all. The dude gave New Orleans everything. He’s now in his hometown playing for his childhood team. I’m loving every minute of this. Jose is definitely not the problem of where the pelicans are at right now.

He’s 27. If it weren’t for that, I’d be pissed. As it is, I’m so excited to hopefully care past April now.

Knicks have Jose and Hart. Plus they have Mitch Robinson from Chalmette. They’ll be who I pull for out of the east since the pels aren’t doing much this year.

The Knick were fun to cheer for last year, and now with Jose will be even easier to cheer for. MSG when they closed out the Celtics last year was rocking for a 35+ point win. Even with their celebrity "look at me fans" the team is still very likable.

Nice article

Too many [messages], but this is a blessing. I’m from here. My family never left the city,” he said. “So just to be in the atmosphere—they’ve been Knicks fans probably since before me, and to be on a team that’s trying to contend for something and me be part of it is pretty special. “It was a lot of mixed emotion when I heard it on the news, coming back home and stuff, so it was exciting. Being here in the city that raised me is a dope feeing and putting a Knicks jersey on is pretty surreal for me. Just trying to stay in the moment, you know what I’m saying?” Alvarado has a relationship with Josh Hart, who was one of his veterans during his rookie year with the Pelicans. He’s competed against a number of current Knicks players when they were on different teams over the course of their careers, as well. “Everybody’s so dope. Everybody welcomed me with open arms. I’m excited,” he said. “I watched them play a lot. Some of the guys I played with on different teams. I played against the Knicks. So it’s a dope feeling. Everybody’s excited. Im excited and I can’t wait to go play with them.”
