It's not really airborne. It's transmissible through contact with bodily fluids. It does not survive in the open air.
If someone is infected and they sneeze mucous into your mouth, yes, you can catch it through the air, but it is not a truly airborne virus.
It's primarily spread through infected food stuffs. Bats shitting on food and people eating that shite without cooking their food properly.
