When using this do you add any other meat or just use it by itself?

i add sauteed onions, bell peppers, celery, chicken livers, ground meat and ground pork and beef stock and cook that down good with a big tablespoon of roux for about an hour,,,the roux gives it a richer flavor

So why bother using a dressing mix?

I add ground chuck, trinity and a skinned egg plant. Oh and some beef stock.

I brown my groundmeat, then cook down the holy trinity add my dressing mix, add a little bit of cream of mushroom, cook it down for an hour on low/medium then add my rice.

All I add is the rice or cornbread, stock and green onions.
