Oahu Itinerary suggestions

We are headed to Oahu mid March for a week, wife, me and 13 yr old daughter. Here is what I have planned as of now.
Wed - arrive around noon, drive to Four Seasons in Ko Olina, hang at
resort and have dinner at Monkeypod
Thur - Do Pink Pill box hike . Hang at resort, no dinner reservations but
might do Minas at the resort
Fri - North Shore, will drive up to the area, debating doing Koalua ranch
on the same day, will hit food trucks and hopefully watch surfers
Sat - Pearl Harbor at 9 AM for Arizona, will get there a little before. Have a
sunset cruise scheduled that evening
Sun - Possibly doing Hanauma Bay, but won't have reservations til we get
there.
Mon - Leave resort and go to hotel in Waikiki. Explore the area, possibly
go to the palace and shops. Have dinner at Dukes at sunset.
Tue - Hike Diamondhead early in the morning. After drive around to
the bottom part of island. Finish on Waikiki beach that day. Have
reservations at House w/o a key for sunset.
Wed - head back home
Debating doing the sandbar on leeward side of island. Would also like to visit the buddhist temple. Any other suggestions or restaurants we should try? I've got some bookmarked but always up for suggestions.

On the Northshore, hit the food truck park and tap room right next door. Roys at the Ko Olina golf course is good. Malisadas from Leonard's bakery near Waikiki are undefeated (good for Hanauma Bay or Diamondhead day). Pu-pu's and drinks just before then overlapping Sunset ay House Without a Key (Halikulani hotel) is magic. Nico's Pier 38 is good on your Pearl Harbor Day and they have a good packaged store as well for poke, fish dips, etc to bring back to your resort. Tentalus lookout is a good view of the sunset overlooking Waikiki (pic below). Depending on which way you take back from the Northshore, the fireworks on Friday nights (Hilton Lagoon) are fun and the show, Ha: Breathe of Life at the Polynesian Cultural Center was pretty entertaining

Definitely drive around to Sandy Beach area it's worth the drive and there is a state park where you can have lunch and watch surfers. The drive is beautiful you aren't that far away from Diamondhead and Waikiki. Have fun. Some of the best times we had were just driving around the island and stopping at random places. Stop and get some Huli-Huli chicken anywhere you see a sign

I would encourage trying to fit Lanikai Beach into your trip. That ended up being our favorite part of Oahu. If you read about it, people complain about tough parking in the adjacent neighborhood. What we found was it was pretty easy. We went early enough to have the beach to ourselves (right after hiking Diamondhead) and experienced incredible views. There’s also an awesome general store nearby with good sandwiches to take with you to the beach.

We did Kuliouou Ridge Trail which was hard but views were amazing.
Also you can drive up to Tantalus Lookout one evening, bring towels and chill for the Sunset.

Definitely do the Koala (sp) ranch atv tour.

We did the ATV tour and wished after we had done the Mountain Bikes.
On the ATV you're forced to follow a group and breathe huge amounts of dust the whole time, you can't go off on your own. Bikes would have been much better, same views.

They gave us face mask thingys. We did do it early , so maybe the dew kept down the dust, idk.

Read most of the stuff posted and you can't go wrong. Two of my favorites is Roy's at Hawaii Kai at happy hour on the patio for sunset....MAgic place great food too. My favorite food is a locals place near the Ward Center called Kaka Aka Kitchen nothing fancy but food is out of this world.. On the culture side the Honolulu museum of art is worth it.....Anything you do alone the North Shore and the drive grind the island is first class. Check out Shark Cove if you can find it.

I had heard that if you do the ride along atv at the ranch you are in the front car and don’t get the dust or dirt

Yeah but you can't pick, a whole group goes at once. It's luck of the draw.
Our day was really bad, it was in our hair, clothes, everywhere. When we go back we're doing the bikes for sure.

Parking at lanikai is a bitch. Waiaminalo or bellows beach(weekends only bc it’s a USMC training area) are both excellent and have better parking available.
I’d avoid staying in Waikiki and doing dukes, but if it’s your first time then I guess you have to.
Great snorkeling is at electric beach and is somewhat near ko olina/ kapolei. I’ve seen lots of turtles, rays and monk seals snorkeling there. H bay is great too but super crowded and you have to reserve your spot.
