If I was a betting man, I'd have thought they would get LaDanian Tomlinson to do Drew's given that the Saints in the hall are all from a different era, but Dan Fouts works well. They both live out in Southern CA and Fouts is very well respected in the QB community.

It was real cool to see Morten do the knock for Adam Vinatieri.

How do you think I feel? I remember watching Roger Craig play.

I hear ya, brother, on feeling old. My favorite player growing up was Bradshaw, and when they showed a clip of him in the pre-MVP montage letting one go under pressure against the Cowboys, it struck me how dated everything looked. The face masks, the jerseys, the video. And then I realized that the clip was approximately 50 years old---equivalent to my 1980-ish kid self watching a black and white video of someone that I would have considered prehistoric, like Red Grange from 1930.

It's a damn shame it took this long for him. He was one of the best backs of the 80s. He got dinged because of the way Bill Walsh used him. Started as the 49er fullback, then moved to running back after Wendell Tyler was shown the door. Still, didn't get as many carries because the 49ers threw so much, so he got receiving yards and catches in lieu of carries and rushing yards. And the idiot voters didn't put him in till now because of that.

He also openly in interviews showed tremendous respect for the Saints defense, esp the Dome Patrol.
