I love LSU but all year they live off over-playing the passing- lane, getting steals. They score on fast-breaks and turn-overs. They are not a half-court team. They shoot a lot of threes. If they are hitting three’s they are good. But if not, they struggle. Koval is good at rebounding and decent at scoring but not good at defense. She can’t go up against big girls. I’m afraid that’s going to be the difference in the SC game.
Will be shocked if they win it all.
Will be very tough but they badly need to win SC game.

No they need their playmakers to make plays. Whenever they try to feed the post. Nothing good happened.

The strength of this team is the guards. The offensive should flow through them. My biggest reason why we lost the game tonight was because we didnt share the ball enough for whatever fricking reason. Also assist to turnover ratio was horrible. Great thing about basketball is there is a long way to go.

LSU shared the ball, the problem was it was usually with a Texas player. The TX guard had 5-6 steals and LSU had way too many turnovers due to bad passes and poor execution of plays.
Williams disappeared in the 4th, Flujuan struggled all game, Fluwiley wouldn’t guard anybody and in the paint LSU has no strength. The 2 TX bigs were slow/unathletic but still got points when needed and nobody guarded Crump.
Was a bad game for pretty much the whole team.

They definitely need a dominant inside player -someone who you could throw the ball inside to and make the opposing guards collapse and then kick it back out to a shooter-

We were just so cold and nobody could get into a rhythm shooting except #12

Texas had 2 offensive lineman playing in the post. Very few teams can match their beef.

The point guard leads the offense, but last night no one did. Too much dribbling and one on one plays. Turnovers has been what determines wins and losses against top 5 teams.

Fla and Jada were 4 for 24; rest of team 21 for 36.

Bring Koval to high post and let her shoot from there. Have Joyner or Knox down low for possible post to post pass.

It's obvious they're not watching the game. LSU outrebounded Texas 40-36 and had more points in the paint. They didn't lose the game because of Texas' size. They lost because they couldn't handle the defensive pressure in the fourth quarter, period.
