Will AI render any video evidence (ie: Epstein blackmail videos) useless?

I fully believe there are lots of famous people blackmailed by video evidence for all kinds of different things.
Will this matter in 10 years? Before we know it, there's going to be a time where someone can say "That's not me. That's totally fake."
What do we do when you can no longer differentiate "real" footage from AI?

Sigh. Your blackmail videos are pure internet fiction.

Not a tech person but surely there is metadata which shows time of creation. I think photo metadata includes details from the camera.

In a few years when the video quality becomes indistinguishable from true 4k video footage... you don't think they will have perfected fraudulent metadata information?

You know and we know that video is real, so you better pay up before it is released to your family.

It's been easy to modify that for years.

I want famous deceased actors to make current movies with AI technology.
I can’t stand any of the current batch of shite stained actors.
That is all.

Do you really think the US federal government is going to require metadata in any images they want to generate for blackmail or other purposes?

I've heard testimony from the farm vets. You aren't going to be able to claim the video was fake.

I've thought about this but it's actually a horrible idea. Do you really want to see Batman part 37 which features a gay AI Lee Marvin as Bruce Wayne in love with his bisexual Robin, played by an AI Cary Grant?
The stories will be just as gay as ever, just with old actors in the roles.
