We will have a lockout when this season ends.

Thankfully.

I’m a believer in you guys this year. Actually planning to go to a Royals game on my bachelor trip because I’ve always wanted to see Kauffman.

I think Bobby + Vinnie P have big years for yall

I think the NL East only gets one team between the Braves, Phillies and Mets and whoever wins the division between those three won't have 90 wins.

Agreed. I don’t see the Mets being very good this year, could be wrong. Atlanta has the highest ceiling of the three, but they’ve got to stay healthy.

From a pitching perspective, they are probably the best of the three.

From an offensive perspective, they are probably the worst of the three.

Agreed on pitching. Philly’s rotation is concerning without Wheeler and Suarez leaving.

smart prediction given that Kauffman is moving in the fences. Witt led the league in doubles so I expect his HR total will increase.

The Braves offense is extremely unpredictable. I think their ceiling is higher than both the Phillies and Mets, but you never know what you’re going to get from guys like Riley, Harris, Albies and whether Acuna can give you a full season.

Making my first visit to Kauffman this year. Super excited to see it, have wanted to see that stadium since I was a kid.

How you feel about the Braves really depends on what you believe Strider, Riley, Albies, and Harris will be going forward. I think Strider bounces back to be a good pitcher (although not what we saw in 2022 and 2023), but I'm pretty down on the three hitters, especially Albies and Harris. I think Albies is physically washed and may be out of the league altogether at this time next year, and I think Harris has too much Jeff Francoeur/Javy Baez in him to ever be a useful major league hitter again.

All of the projection systems (like ZiPS) are too high on the Braves because they still include 2023 in their models, which is a season most of these guys will never get close to again. This is an 85 win team at best right now who might be able to push for the #6 seed.

I think Strider can be a solid 3rd starter with a mid 3 ERA. Doubt he ever returns to his peak.

Unfortunately I agree with you on Ozzie. He’s a fan favorite and all time glue guy, but his production is just not there anymore. Will likely be his last season as the Braves starting second baseman.

Riley and Harris are the keys to a successful 2026. If Harris can get his OBP back up and Riley gets you 100 RBI’s, this is a division winner. big ifs, though.
