I lasted 2 innings. Didn’t see the 2 pm start time and was there at 1. It was just a tad chilly for my liking.

Beautiful day, just too damn cold for the old folks.

We could tell that it was the final half frame when DJ Primeaux took the mound because the dugout erupted everytime he threw a strike

Thanks for soldiering through the inclement conditions and crunching the numbers for us Scuba!

Most the players weren’t even in sleeves, and were very lively

I took my grandson......we only could make it for 4 innings. I hope the opener is not the usual 50 degrees with winds out of the north.

Great line for Zion against a mostly lefty lineup.

I know it was cold and still early on but what were the pitching velos today?

ETA: I just read they weren’t showing velos today. Makes sense with the cold, don’t want guys overthrowing right now during the elements

Pitch velocity has not been displayed this spring. Jay may be questioned why at tonight’s coach’s committee meeting. If we get an answer, I’ll post it.

N2daWild usually takes some notes and creates a thread to share the CC meeting info also Scuba.

I want to ask Jay about the benefits of those catapult undergarments that every player wears now. And perhaps when his indoor infield facility might become a reality out there on the horizon.
