Over the last year or so these have gotten better and better. It’s fast approaching a point where we won’t have to wait for Disney to admit the sequels sucked and retcon.

I could absolutely see someone putting in the time and making Heir to the Empire as a trilogy of full length movies.

I saw one with Vader and Qui Gon on instagram. It was really good.

I heard a rumor that Disney will possibly be releasing the original unaltered trilogy in 4K for a theater release next year to coincide with the 50th anniversary. This would be the first time since 1997 those movies are released without all of that stupid bullshite. One can only hope.

Agree to disagree. While they look pretty at times, most of the dialogue still sucks, and many of the videos put out are really boring.

You’re right. That video wasn’t impressive at all. The technology hasn’t gotten better. Everything sucks…

Did you make this? Why are you so easily offended?

You don't get fan made vids & content for things no one watched.

Where's the Reva based movie ? The lil Leia show? The Acolyte ?

Bueller? Bueller?

I’m not offended. I guess I responded douchily. My bad.

But you can’t deny the quality of the CGI is off the charts. I agree we aren’t there yet, but the increase in realism has skyrocketed. You take that and adapt an existing story, baby you got a stew going!

Side note: how are movie budgets at 100 quadrillion dollars because of CGI, when stuff like this can be made for free on my phone?

Much of the problem is how the movies are made. They wait until the last possible moment to then start the CGI process because they keep making changes, doing reshoots, etc... Godzilla Minus One cost around 12 million dollars. That's well under 10% of what most Marvel / DC movies spend for production.

I almost started a thread with the two I really liked.

One was right after Episode 3 and one right after episode 4.

Someone has already done an animated version of Heir that is on YouTube. It’s a passion project for someone that, while not the best thing ever released, has more heart in it than most Disney projects.
