Slow drain in shower

Pick up a hair snake at the hardware store. It should instantly solve your problem.

Sometimes you can use a drain snake or a piece to coat hanger wire but the only really effective way to get it all out is to remove the drain plug or cap and grab a pair of long nose pliers or large hemostats to pull the clog out. My fiancée has long hair, I need to see if those shower hair traps are worth trying out.

Remove the drain stopper (this is the hardest part. So many types with different ways to remove)

I bought one of the snake things ItzMe1972 posted, but once the stopper was out, there were three hairbands stuck just inside that were easy to remove.
No snake needed.

also, if she uses a lot of conditioners , that doesn't help things either.

I think it tends to bind the hair

Go to an appliance store and buy some drain acid to go into the drain. It works great. Just wear gloves and eye protection and don't breathe it in.

I got one of those zip strip cleaners. Long plastic strip with angled teeth on both sides. Push down, slowly pull up. Freaking mortified what I pulled up, it was unreal.
