I have the plans for that building on my computer somewhere…it was supposed to be a burger joint (“55 burgers” or similar). The owners were shady as frick so we pulled our bid. Whoever built it hopefully got paid, and obviously the burger place never opened. I don’t think the building is actually currently complete but it may be.
But yeah, chicken sandwich places are not that rare in hammondia

Yea that 55 burger or whatever was busted for youth labor violations. So good call on being shady.

I had their ultimate pepper cheesesteak. It’s decent. They are als open late night and they look like they have a decent amount of people drive through after midnight.
I do think they have a little too much on the menu and probably need to trim it down (like get rid of the pasta).

I've been meaning to try the one in BR. The online reviews are good. I'll be surprised if the cheesesteak is better than Philly Me Up though.

Man I think it's legit, and I've had them in Philly from most of the famous places. I used to travel there a lot for work.
