He should be using his position to create alliances with local businesses etc.-to raise money

I don't really ever see any basketball coaches doing that.

Well, a grand total of zero current LSU MBB players are from Louisiana, so I'd say that's why you don't see those types of photos.

We’ve taken in 1 HS player from LA (& Chest played HS in Missouri) in his 4 years here, 2 if you want to count Trey Dez Green

I stopped beating the dead horse a long time ago. Nobody at LSU wants this guy here. He will be gone. As soon as it makes sense to do so.
I don’t see him getting any other significant job either.

He should have done that at the beginning of his tenure. It was too late for that last season.

Mmm Brown did it Brady to a lesser degree and Wade did it. McMahon never tried and at this point no one wants to hear him bore them to death.

Is there no guy on staff that can take over with a pulse?

McMahon can take leave for family reasons...

Brown and Brady coached before twitter existed. The OP changed his question after my response because he’s apparently a giant pussy.

Been beating this drum, you can’t tell me we can’t find players just as good as what is on the floor. There is no connection between the program and state or community. He is horrible at promoting!!

Not sure what drum you're beating, but no, Louisiana (sadly) does not produce top tiered basketball talent if that is what you are awkwardly trying to suggest.

I believe our state has one player in the Top 200 for the Class of 2026 (#138).

2026 Top Basketball Recruits

Time to beat a different drum.

Winning increases donor support substantially. So I would say minimal involvement since he's sucked at building a winning program.

Ok but I was referring to getting out in front of businesses gr.oups and being continuously on radio and TV. Brown was a master at this Brady was ok atit and Wade was pretty good at it. Mcloser has no clue!

It’s his most glaring weakness of many.
