Trump says he wants to drive home prices higher

The Fed increased the money supply by 40% during Covid which resulted in inflation going through the roof.
Young people graduating today are graduating into a world where home prices are already at an all time high, and Trump wants to drive those prices even higher so the old timers that bought homes for $12 in 1972 can continue to feel rich.
Congratulations to you old timers for living in the only era in history where you could drop out of high school, get a high paying factory job, and retire at 50 with a big fat pension because the company knew it was cheaper to offshore your unskilled job overseas.
You should be more humble because if you were graduating into todays world you would be stocking shelves at Wal-Mart and retirement would be a pipe dream

Good! Your “affordability” is my lost equity.
Stop the fraud, keep your $2000 stimulus checks, pay down the deficit, drop interest rates.

The prices are going to come down regardless. Fifty four percent of homes are owned by the 55+ demographic. Immigration is negative and Gen Z doesn't want children.

Yeah,
I hope the GOP runs on that issue in November. It’s a sure winner…

No one truly owns a home as long as property taxes exist.
You’re a lifelong tenant of the state. Then when you die, your children get to pay the state for the privilege of being allowed to inherit your hard work
Trump, for all the good he’s done, is still a boomer at heart and he’s wrong here.
The value of these homes are artificially inflated through government subsidies/programs and corps like Blackrock buying and selling to themselves.

I genuinely don't care about this comment as it doesn't relate to me.
But Trump is (reportedly) bleeding a lot of young male support in recent months already, we're about to attack Iran and he's saying stuff like this which goes right to the heart of his second most enthusiastic base and their grievances with the world.

I presume you will advocate for the Dems to then run on driving home prices down, correct?
