Aside from the bot question - how many here are paid shills?

Pretty confident that the most prominent and prolific of the prog posters on this site aren't just organically as idiotic as they appear.
- Normal rational humans don't keep coming back for more and more beatdowns when they've been demonstrably proven wrong/retarded time and again.
- Normal productive functioning humans don't have enough free time to post drivel all day every day (childless boomers possibly the exception)
The paid posters are clearly intelligent enough to string together coherent sentences, but lack the wisdom and awareness you would expect from someone communicating with sincerity.
So why engage with the paid trolls? We all know who most of them are. I'm not generally in favor of banning and stifling debate. But when it's been demonstrated time and again that certain posters aren't here in good faith but are just paid to be here to promote leftist propaganda, why do anything but ignore?

Honest questions here:
1) Who exactly do you think is spending actual real money to pay people to post here?
2) Why would this be their destination? Paid agitators at riots in leftist cities get on the news and go viral and yadda yadda. The political forum on tigerdroppings is going to have...a lot less reach, to put it mildly.

IF they are here... the point isn't to convince others, the point is to derail threads dealing with certain topics.

The Biden administration blew that wide open and didn't even try to hide, but were weirdly proud of, the fact that they depended heavily and paid handsomely, "influencers".
No corner of the country or internet is too small as they are ginning up false "consensus".

I think a lot of people are like me - I honestly get a lot of my news & insight on this site. In terms of true conservative (MAGA, patriotic whatever we want to call it these days) discussion & engagement I think this site ranks pretty high

Bots/shills/etc. is probably the most overplayed topic on this board, TBH
We occasionally have someone who comes with a contrarian viewpoint and spams the board and then they're gone soon after.
I just don't think this is a type of place where a) you can get the benefit of a volume of shills to reinforce concepts like you can on Reddit or X and b) most of the contrarian positions here just aren't that persuasive and don't really move much of the needle. I don't think it's fertile ground or format for what people often claim is happening.
If on a random Tuesday you had a dozen coyly presented pro-Israel, why Trump needs to intervene in Iran threads by fairly new posters, sure. But that doesn't really happen. We have a handful of the same lefties saying their usual stuff - I highly doubt anyone is paying them for it.
Now, they might be trolling you guys, but that's different.

Second of all, I've been thinking this for a long time. There are a small amount of people who get on here and derail every thread with no push back from the administrators. They are obviously paid or gain some sort of benefit from it. I have a hard time believing there are that many organic idiots that would frequent this forum.
