No. These early season series are for learning how players react to game situations. I will be disappointed if we don't win 2 of 3. But not a sweep? Not a bit.
ETA: If a team has one dominating pitcher, it can win one game. I have no idea about 'nova's pitchers.

Its baseball, not football, you have hiccups against crappy teams once in awhile.
And, FWIW, I already have my argument lined up for when we lose a midweek game to some team we aren't supposed to and a rantard comes out to tell us how we should never lose to so and so

yes very disappointed. we schedule teams as terrible as villanova to open the season on purpose, so we can start out the season with a series sweep and so that we can be rusty and still dominate

Go up against a hot pitcher and often the superior team will fall to one of lesser talent. I would be disappointed if we don't sweep this weekend but I know the game of baseball enough to realize we will drop a few games to less talented teams just because of individual pitching performances.

Considering the fact that my wife is an '89 graduate of Nova...yes, yes and yes. I still haven't gotten over the rip job LSU hoops got in the BE-SEC challenge two years ago in Philly. Revenge is sweeter when served at home.

I doubt Villanova has even praticed outside so it would be a dissapointment. And we are to good to lose even one to them right now

The question isn't if we COULD lose to Nova, it's will you be disappointed? As a fan I am always disappointed when we lose. Do I expect to go undefeated ? No. But, I hate losing.

its baseball, shite happens. I was a pretty good fielder, but had days where I couldn't scoop a ball to save my life. Our pitcher has a bad inning and that could lose us a game
