Be safe out there fellas.

One more week of quack quack hunting to go (except for y'all Georgia guys).

I remember one winter my brother-in-law and I went duck hunting when an extreme cold front hit. We went out, shot a few ducks but called it an early day since it was so damn cold. We weren't out but about 3 hours total time and felt like we were going to freeze to death.

Later that day we heard there had been 3 deaths of duck hunters who succumbed to the conditions that day.

They should bill them for the rescue complete with hazzard pay.

If the threat of freezing to death isn't enough, maybe a $10k rescue invoice will make them use their heads next time.

For real. They want to be ignorant and reckless fine; but they pay the bill.

Coast guard and sheriff and I would think LDWF as well are not tow boats. They will rescue you and may pull your boat to a safe place but they aren’t going to tow the boat in

Been there before and the sheriff got us and we tied the boat up and had to get a ride back the next day to get the boat

Won’t freeze to death, hypothermia kills you long before you freeze.

We hit a submerged gill net off chef pass 1983 coasties fetched us.
