Excuse my brain fart/ignorance: do all 3 host countries automatically qualify?

Seems unfair that 3 countries get automatic qualified spots.

They expanded the field from 32 to 48, so the ratio got smaller but any team that would have been in the top 31 still gets to participate.

There will be lots of teams that shouldn’t be in it this year due to the expanded field.

From our region, Curacao made their first World Cup ever.

Well, in 2030 for the centennial, it is already a 3-host tournament in Portugal, Spain, and Morocco. And Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay are all hosting 1 match to commemorate the first WC in 1930 being in Uruguay/South America.

6 technical hosts, all automatic qualifiers.

Also, after the AFCON final, Morocco shouldn't get to host anything.

Just reading this makes my brain hurt. What was FIFA thinking?? They couldn't host 2030 in South America & 2034 in Europe??
