Coach Brown has to have one last motivational speech left in him and we can break out the freak defense!

Probably not a good idea. They are all in their late 50s early 60s.

But with the new NCAA rules they could probably still have some eligibility.

I’m guessing Hot Plate has to be pushing 400 lbs. by now.

I believe he was about 235 at LSU . When people talk about the all time greats in the program’s history, Williams seems to get overlooked but in my opinion he’s one of the best .

He carried that team to the Final Four. You could’ve replaced just about anyone else on that team except for Hot Plate. Almost every game you would hear the commentators say that "he's a man among boys."

Williams is the starting small forward on my all time LSU team which would easily beat any school not named UCLA or UNC.

And we could possibly beat those 2.

For those old enough, do you remember how close Kentucky’s final shot from half court was from going in the basket for what would have resulted in a 1 point victory for Kentucky??? (I think the 3 point shot was in play in 1986!!!)

what game are you talking about? we played UK 4 times in 86. we finally won 53-51 en route to the final 4. we lost both regular season games plus the SEC tourney game. The home game we lost by 2 was heartbreaking. Derek Taylor was out that game or was it john williams who had chicken pox? we were missing somebody crucial.

Roger harden hit a 35 foot jumper as time expired.

wrong. 3 pointers started in 1987.

On a side note, if Nikita Wilson were eligible for the second semester we’d have won it all.
