Dude hauled his arse halfway around the country to kiss and makeup with a recruit while on someone's campus. BK couldn't tell you Sam Leavitt's name or make time for him in recruiting. You can already see the massive differences between them. Lane will win one here because he's as thirsty as we are.

Brian Kelly was a fraud of a football coach. He memorized a few football catch phrases to show how smart he was, when in reality, he really was lazy and clueless. Worst coaching decision every at LSU, and that is a tough 'worst' to be #1.

I held onto hope for BK probably longer than most.
Lane is showing me why I was a fool for believing in BK at all, the dude just works and talks some shite while doing it.

same. i believe he checked out after JD left. he's not built for the new era of CFB. he would have likely done a really good job if say he were hired in 2016 when we tinkered with firing miles, but, that means 2019 never happens.

BK definitely was disappointing. He thought LSU would recruit itself and he would not have to work hard. He got his retirement and good for him. He had a long career, and it is not his fault LSU signed him to a contract with such a high guarantee.

I (sadly) remember at the time of the quote, I convinced myself BK was correct. He had me convinced that any SEC win was a good thing and style points shouldn’t matter….then he stopped winning…
