The Old Dominion QB goes up the middle untouched 75 yards for a touchdown.

They'd go on to win by a modest 27-14 score.

Little could they know what sorta of season they were about to have.

This was one where the score was a little misleading compared to the actual gameplay.

IU only scored touchdowns 2 out of the 7 times they were in the red zone. They missed 2 FGs from outside the red zone and fumbled on ODU’s 30 yard line.

Completely agree that none of us would have guessed the season they would have after that game,

I don’t remember what the stat is called that bases a team’s win percentage off stats, but I’m sure Indiana’s was probably close to 99%

SEC fans are so bigly mad that they haven't even made the title game in 3 years

Cignetti probably chewed their soft asses out instead of going to the media and slamming his hand on a table

4 pick 6s on opening drives this season is mighty suspicious

The schools in that area of the country is known for taking shortcuts to overcome talent deficiencies in multiple areas of their lives.

Started ranked #20.

This is their season. I hope they finish it. Stories like this are good for CFB.
