They have to be up there if not at the top I imagine right? I’m not super well versed in B1G history so don’t have much opinion to add outside of the question.

They're better than 2019 LSU so there's that.

Why don't we wait until they finish the season to see that.

So infinitely better than any B1G team?

I think Ohio State would have beat this Indiana team if they met back up… the way to beat a team that relies on perfect execution is extreme athleticism… that’s why I think Miami beats them

Ohio State couldn't run the ball against Indiana or Miami.

1994 Penn State would beat this team...but 1994 Penn State would beat most all-time teams...that offense was an NFL-caliber machine...Avg. TD drive under 2- minutes, leading the nation in scoring (47.0 PPG) and total yards (520.2 YPG) featuring 5 All-Americans on the offensive line and Kerry Collins, Ki-Carter, Bobby Ingram, etc.

Pretty high up, but last year's Ohio State team would beat them because they had Henderson/Judkins and Howard could run and escape trouble.

Don't think any teams in 2026 College Football should be considered better than teams before the transfer portal. This Indiana team, and the other good teams in 2026 have little, if any depth. If one of their best players had gotten injured they wouldn't be in the playoff.

I’m looking at the full body of work but if IU wins, the rankings would be:
1. Indiana 2026
2. Michigan 2024
3. Ohio State 2025
4. Ohio State 2002
5. Ohio State 2014
They legit have a chance to pass Ohio State and Michigan for greatness. Considering both have run this conference for years, this is insane! If they lose they are one of the best to never win.
1. Ohio State 2019
2. Indiana 2026
3. Ohio State 2023
4. Michigan 2021
5. Ohio State 2020
6. Michigan 2022
7. Michigan State 2015
1. Indiana 2026
2. Michigan 2024
3. Ohio State 2025
4. Ohio State 2002
5. Ohio State 2014

Forgot they were a vested member by then, slide them in at #3 and shift everyone down.

If indiana wins it, they will rank 2nd all time. Right behind 01 miami

I started at 2000 for BCS/CFP era but sure pump them in although they are the worst national champion. Not sure where I’d put them I never paid attention to that team. Where’s Bunk and Hail at when you need them.

This is just incorrect on top of being off of the question that the post asked

Their defense was legit. They only gave up 98 points all year, and never more than 14 in a game.
