They just mentioned this Indiana team and 2019 LSU in the same breath

Not even close. Completely unbiased...no. That LSU team set a record on beating top 10 teams. LSU dominated every team that year except Auburn who had an elite defense.

I’d bet the house on the Tigers

LSU talent was way better and offensive playcalling, this team is better coached from a fundamental level.

One plays in the SEC. The other in the Bee One Gee. Big difference

There isn't a team in the history of college football I'd pick over the 2019 LSU Fighting Tigers.

Their playoff performance so far has been very LSU 2019ish, but they played a weak Bama team before this Oregon beatdown. And they had beaten Oregon already. Impressive beatdowns though either way. Excellent team.

Only other game I remember LSU going down to the wire in outside Auburn was Texas. That Texas team that year actually would've been a problem had they not got piled on with injuries. The Texas team that played LSU in game 1 was a playoff team then they got slapped with injuries. Auburn had an elite defense coming off I remember a sneaky tropical system that hit us hard the night before and it was a sloppier game than usual. Clemson tried to use Auburn's defense against us because it was the only scheme that slowed Burrow down. Burrow caught on it quickly though when he cracked his ribs.

I’m not insulted by the comparison, but no.

Indiana won their conference title game 13-10, LSU blew out Georgia in it.

Indiana would spank that 19 LSU team. Way more disciplined and better coach
