everyone will downplay Lane Kiffin’s impact and smugly insist Ole Miss was always fine without him. If Ole Miss loses, they’ll further crucify him for “abandoning” the program and “raiding” the staff while blaming the loss on him. The narrative is rigged no matter what happens. But I love being on the villain side of things.

I think it’s pretty fair to say Kiffin built this team and this grit that they play with.
It’s also fair to say that Weis is a bad arse OC and Chambliss and Lacy are two of the best in CFB at their positions. So them winning it all without Kiffin wouldn’t be that crazy.

This is Lane kiffin's team no matter how you shake it. Hammond boy will get his chance next year to prove himself, but even then it's still mostly Lane's players
