What’s the deal with Glenn Guilbeau?

As far back as I can remember, he’s just bashed LSU at every turn. Does anyone know why? Is it just a gimmick? There’s plenty of outside journalists who seemingly have it out for LSU, but Guilbeau covers LSU and writes for Tigerrag.
All he does is piss people off, so if that’s his goal, he’s at least successful.
Gotta be one of the most universally disliked people among LSU folks. Also looks like Dilbert and generally is just smug and obnoxious.

I quit listening to the Tiger Rag podcast when he joined. Can’t stand his negative journalism. He seems to love it when LSU does poorly in a game or season.

He may very well be a good writer - I’m not disputing that. I’m just curious if anyone knows why he’s so anti-LSU? Is it a shtick? Like the poster above said, much of his work is blatantly negative regarding LSU.
