There is a legit chance we land 2-3 of the top 4 players in the portal per On3's rankings

On3 Portal Player Rankings
Sam Leavitt - on campus today I think LSU has to be leader in clubhouse at this point to hand him
Cam Coleman - haven't heard much about his but that would be sick, not sure we have the funds to pay him, but he has to be interested in LSU especially if we land Leavitt
Jacarrius Peak - with Austin Shelton coming over from NC State as LSU's new director of player personnel we have to have an inside track on landing him
Chaz Coleman - been on campus and currently crystal balled to LSU

Unfortunately I don’t think we get anybody of Coleman’s caliber in this portal. Because LSU needs so much at practically every position that they can’t spend the amount that these type of players are asking for. It sucks but oh well.

Yep, Cam Coleman is a luxury for a team with an already established QB and OL (think Texas). LSU shouldn't do that kind of buy until Year 2.
