I will say that my redline will be an Ollie or Ham hire. If Borrego isn’t going to be that guy I’d like to see them take a swing at a younger up and coming coach. I know the Willie experiment went bad but you just have to keep trying.

Every team in the league has multiple consistent 3p shooters and we don’t. Thats always the difference in these games.

We gave up 43 points in the first quarter. Our shooting is not our only nor biggest problem. Your defense is as good as your worst defender. And we have some major liabilities.

I agree. I just see it as these teams get up on them in a lot of games and we can’t shoot ourselves back into the game.
We definitely have defensive issues because a lot of the roster aren’t two way players and that’s hard to win with.

With herbs defense this team went on a 5 game run. Then herb got hurt. He anchored the defense that led to wins. You shouldn’t rely on just one guy, but herb is that great
If Dejounte were back you’d have another great 2 way player, but there’s no telling when he’s coming back. They have been quiet on his return

Shooting 58% vs 43 % and still losing with 8 points. There was not a single player who didn't commit a ridiculously stupid turnover.
If they start taking care of the ball just a bit they will win this one, as Miami are already tired and can't hit a shot after the hot start.
