Is there a real explanation why the best LSU 3 pt shooter is throwing the ball in

and a player fresh off the bench is shooting the needed 3? If there is a reason, I sure can't justify it.

That’s not what’s important. What’s important is that Matt is a nice guy and rides on a golf cart around campus sometimes.

Probably wanted to pitch it back to him but the ball was inbounds too far down the court. They got a great look just didn’t go in.

I did not watch the game, but maybe the play was designed to get him the ball.

Decoy- If you notice when Mckinnon crossed mid court, A&M players rushed forward to guard him, which left the other kid open for a good look.

Go back and watch the game winning 3 by Villanova in the national championship game….. the idea is to inbound and then trail the play for the shot. Just didn’t go that way

I’m sure there is some other legitimate reason for Mackinnon inbounding the ball but there’s no chance that reason was to run a play for Mosley.

Yeah, I posted something similar. Absolute garbage on player selection for the last shot.
