I didn't see the most of the fourth quarter of the Sugar Bowl last night because my little brother tried to fight me. He is the youngest, and me and our other brother definitely practiced wrestling moves on him when he was a kid, but we never did anything criminal or Child Protective Service-y to him. Now he has some legitimate anger issues. He still does the tough guy routine and it's important to him that everybody knows we're not kids anymore and it's not like it used to be.

We've talked about it in the past and he admitted that it still bothers him and it contributes to his anger in adulthood, and I've apologized and everything. I don't know what else I can do though, aside from avoiding him and acting like he doesn't exist.

You have to fight him. If he's married or has a GF, you need to tap it.

He’ll hopefully grow out of it but a good one last arse kicking to reinforce dominance/character building deal wouldn’t hurt either.

Im talking beat down.

Yeah this is an obvious brother fight scenario. Won't work till it's done. Cool thing about brother fights is it stops when it gets too bad. Nobody wants to deal with dad. Or mom for that matter. God help you if it's grandma and her "go cut a switch" Sphynxian bargain.

After he kicks your arse he will feel better. Just give him a reason!! Lol
My youngest stepson was they Same way and his older brothers use to kick his arse and bully him. Fast forward to today and ive trained him for years. From weight lifting, football, Wrestling, and put him in MMA for a couple of months. Anway needless to say he can kick all of there asses now. And they know it.
Hes 6'1 195lbs and benches 325 squats 495 and power cleans 255 as a sophomore in HS. He loves it and he wrestles with all of them and makes them tap.

Sounds like you were a shitty brother and still dont give a shite that you were a shitty brother and you're confused why your brother dislikes you.

Its simple: you're a shitty brother. The end.

How big of dicks were y’all?

You know that all the apologizing and acknowledgement doesn’t just clear the air for all parties.

You obviously did something to him that has had a lasting effect on him. Whether you believe what you did is out of bounds is irrelevant. It’s not about the value of the action, it’s about the lasting effect.

I’m not saying it’s up to you to fix it. The shitty things that are done to us as kids are our own problems. But you contributed in some way to those problems. If you want to think it’s fine, much like his trauma is his issue, that’s your issue.
