Any chance we get one of the Coleman kids? Either Cam or Chaz?

Chaz likely going to Ohio State. He's from Ohio.

Three schools named to watch for Cam are Texas, Alabama, and LSU.

I know we're trying to get both in for visits.

We went from spending money freely on every recruit to being skeptical about securing visits from top prospects. Lane has convinced everyone that he's going portal hunting and bringing in the big players. Yet every year, you fall for this. Coach Hankton used to make daily posts with the message "Love Yours." You all need to internalize that message. We have plenty of talent in the building, but they were poorly coached. It's important to pay your team and supplement through the portal. There's no way you should let Breaux, Parker, Hill, and others walk away. Additionally, you're trying to low-ball Treydez Green, even though most of these guys aren't asking for astronomical figures.

Green took a discount for the first two years. Scone said he believes that Green will be paid more than any other TE has up to this point.

Green should own some of this, he was a disappointment with couple of games exception.

Hopefully he’ll be what we expect, next year

How do we know what they’re asking for?

He can't throw himself the ball and he didn't call the plays. Disappointment, you don't watch football.

I would like to keep the players you mentioned, but there have also been SEVERAL players on this roster over the last two years who were given money to stay and didn’t earn it. Who were paid to come via the portal and didn’t come close to matching value for payment.

I agree that coaching and development haven’t been good enough, especially on offense the last two years. However, evaluation and payment hasn’t been right, either. If you want to tell me LSU has been doing a better job of this than Ole Miss. then you aren’t paying very good attention to reality. They are getting more out of their players and have been finding players that fit their scheme at a much better rate than we have and then they’ve also developed them better.

I don’t want to see the baby tossed out with the bath water, but changes need to be made here and we hired the right people to make them. I’m sure I won’t agree with every decision, but we have a very good example of their work in front of us right now.

His contract is reportedly done now, so it looks like you don’t know what you’re talking about.

STFU, I said they were trying to low ball him the reason it took this long. Green should've been the first domino to fall.

If his demand was to be the highest paid TE in college football, he’s got some work to do to. I believe he will under this staff, but his play has not matched that level yet. Hence the haggling.

He had a couple of EASY in the hands drops this season that could have made a difference in one or two of our losses. It’s easy to blame Sloan and the OL, but there were things Green could control that he didn’t. That shite can’t happen anymore being the highest paid at his position.

That said, I’m in favor of Green being paid, but I’m not put off that the staff negotiated with him instead of just handing him a bank check. I want him to succeed here. But it’s also time for our players to be paid according to what they produce. Some may not like that, but free player movement works both ways. Produce or be replaced. Some of these guys who didn’t produce are going to be replaced.

He’s not a great blocker and dropped way too many passes

Sorry that hurts your feelings
