Portal Window closes before natty

For the ole miss guys planning to join us in BR…what are they going to do if they make the natty?? Portal windows closes before then

The only thing it messes up is having to hold spots. You run the risk of them ending up not coming when you could have filled the spot with someone earlier .

We don't really have to "hold" spots. Its very unlikely we will fill our entire 105 alottment/roster limit. Now, there will have to be conversations pertaining to starting roles. But that conversation would happen regardless.

hypothetically how does it work for these teams replacing guys who do decided to transfers out? do they just get screwed because there is no other transfer window now?

This is not a new thing. Teams still playing get extended time to enter. Same as it’s been for years.

If you're still playing, you get an extension on the window. Your coach leaves, you get a new transfer window. The Jan 2-16 window isn't and end all be all.

The transfer portal needs to move to the end of May.
