This is the YT channel of a couple who go all over the country exploring. They typically go to more decrepit or unknown towns. They've gone to Alexandria before.

Here's Part 2

Alexandria

Saw that dude on Franklin St here in Juneau a couple summers ago, quite the life he's got coing on.

He seems like a more actionable world according to Briggs.

Briggs is fine and all but he doesn’t show much of him actually going to the places he critiques and relies heavily on stats.

Nick Johnson does a lot of these vids, but he focuses on dysfunction too much, and it can get depressing. But I suppose that beats the "influencers" who are paid to promote places.

Several other neighborhoods he could’ve gone into that would’ve shown more upscale housing. Alexandria has its problems, but he showed the worst part of the city.

Several? I don’t think so.

Landmark
Tennyson Oaks
The Lakes District

Charles Park is still good in certain areas. Same with Cherokee village. But half of those neighborhoods have gone down the toilet.

There are more below average areas than even average areas. And the issue is you can’t go to Kroger or Walmart without having to encounter the inhabitants of the below average areas. This is true everywhere, but when you’re outnumbered it becomes noticeable.

He didn’t get anywhere near the worst parts of the city.

Wasn’t it ranked in top 5 for per capita homicides a couple of years ago? That town is one of the worst places to live in the whole USA

Always in the top ten and usually number one or two per capita. Started in the 90’s with the gang/drug culture.

What area of Cherokee village is hood?
Grew up on Cherokee lane and have heard tear downs are popular there now.

Oh heck as a wee lad I took a dump in our front yard on clover lane and asked my buddy to get some paper to wipe with.
Got my arse best pretty good that time but it was only the beginning.

Man, the one when they “toured” Bastrop was depressing.

He stayed far, far away from the worst parts of Lake Providence.

Meh…I have lived in plenty of towns and cities and you can cherry pick certain parts of any town to portray it in any light you want. I have lived in a lot worse towns than Alexandria.
