I am going to be in LFT tomorrow for a few hours. Suggest a good lunch spot or lunch special for a Monday.

SW Louisiana is the meca for plate lunches. If you can’t find a traditional restaurant, don’t sleep on little independent grocery stores or even convenience stores. For all Acadiana has to offer from a culinary perspective- and it offers a lot- plate lunches in that region are off the charts and overlooked IMO.

Went to Angelle’s today. The bathrooms were wrecked and the place looked like it had not been cleaned in 10 years. Went to the coffee shop instead.
